Here are some pics of a newer, more accurate version of Obi's EP1 saber... Michael Martin turned out the grips and pommel in wood (I added the details to those pieces), and everything else was done by me. I will be offering instructions on how to build this style saber from hardware store parts within a few weeks... I will charge $15 for copies and shipping... these instructions are currently on 8-1/2" X 14" paper, 10-12 pages long (will end up being more I'm sure), and are full scale. A parts list is included. The instructions are a step by step walk through of how I built this saber. These are not the ebay plans or even the "How to build your own lightsaber" booklet you can buy of of ebay... these are plans that tell you exactly how I built the saber in these pictures... I will try to include in progress photos of the more harder to do procedures. I feel funny about charging for these plans, but here are my reasons: 1) I do not want to distribute these plans via the WWW 2) I get charged for postage, envelopes, and making copies... therefore I want to be reimbursed 3) A lot of people email me to ask how I made my sabers, and I figure that a lot of my techniques can't really be explained, so I decided to draw up blueprints.
