For the ANH saber, the basic piece was 1.25 inch plumbing pipe, the graflex style
button thing was sheet metal, some electrical parts, and half of a sheet rock
anchor screw. The pommel is a sink knob and the ribbed part is vacuum cleaner
hose. The smaller place below the emiter is .75 inch PVC and plastic plumbing
tube. The emmiter is a stopper to a small sink drain.

For the TPM saber, the basic piece is a 1.5 inch plumbing pipe with a flared end.
The holes were cut with a Dremel tool, and vacuum cleaner hose was stuffed
inside. The pommel is the same style sink knob as the other saber. The red button
is an actual clothing button.
Both sabers are held together with rivets, and a whole lot of quick drying epoxy.
I can't really put into words exactly how I did this picture, but here is an
illustration of the main stages of the process.
between the 5th and 6th steps, the hardest part was matching the color. The only
other thing I can say is that I have spent countless hours in photoshop.
