For those of you who have never heard of the Site Fights, let me give you a little run down. The Site Fights is the first and in my opinion the BEST internet sport on the World Wide Web. Basically the first thing you have to do is chose a team you wish to fight with. You are placed in a qualifying round with other sites. This is where all of your friends and general web surfers come in. Once a day people may vote for the Site they think is the best. You must qualify four days out of six to advance to the next level. Once you are past qualifying you move on to the next level. All levels above qualifying level are based on a point system (10 points being the highest) Each day the team leader tallies up all of the votes a site has received from the previous day. At the end of the week the site with the most points will advance to the next level.
Once the site as advanced through all team levels, it then goes to the Warzone. This is where you fight it out with the best of other teams. Teams are grouped under headings of "This Side" "That Side" "Another Side" "Other Side" and "Pint Side". If your team is grouped under "This Side" you will fight the champions of other teams grouped under the same name. If you are lucky enough to come out on top (and it's not easy) You will advance to the DMan Dome
The DMan Dome is where you battle it out with the Champions of ALL teams. Only the best will survive. This is the sport where the surfer decides who will win!

Each team has a team leader who runs the team...they send out welcome letters to new fighters, tally up scores at the end of each day and many more things too. Most teams have an assistant too. I'm the team assistant on the Cherished Teddies team. We are a newer team, but already we are showing great promise. I'm known as DCherish within the Site Fights. I run the webring, adopt a teddy, newsletter, suggestion box and the buddy program. I kept rather busy with the Cherished Teddies, most of my online time is spent doing things for the fighters and the site.
I started out fighting with the Darksbane Dragons team...I then became a Spirit Fairy for the Ringmasters. What's a Spirit Fairy you say? A Spirit Fairy is someone who signs "dusts" guestbooks within a team. Spirit Fairies are the Site Fights Cheerleaders. Being in the Site Fights isn't just about winning...It's about showing spirit and making new friends too. A lot of people join just for the fun and friendships...not to win! I was a Spirit Fairy for around 3-4 months...then I joined DTeddies the Cherished Teddies Team Leader and the rest is history!
