Flatland

Squeakers - To do squeakers, get going slowly forward, and jam your right foot into the fork. As the back of the bike comes up, put your left foot on the left front peg, and scuff down on the front tire with your right foot. If you feel yourself falling forward, hit the front brake until you fall back a little, then scuff some more. Repeat this procedure until you feel you are done, then hit the front brake, fall to the ground, put your feet on the pedals, and pedal away.

Tailwhip - To do a tailwhip, get going and put your right foot over the top bar. When you are ready, stick your right foot into the fork, hit the front brake, and kick the back of the bike around with your left foot. Balance with your right foot on the tire, and when the bike comes back around, catch it with your left foot. Put your right foot on the pedal, and ride away.

Boomerang - There are two ways to do this trick. To do a Boomerang rolling, get moving slowly forward. Put your right foot on your left back peg. Then, with both hands on the bars, slightly swing your left foot forward. Hop off the back peg, hit the front brake, and spin around the head tube on the bars. When you are 1/3 around (or 10 o'clock)let go of the brake and coast, but keep spinning. When you get 2/3 of the way around (or 2 o'clock) apply the front brake and finish spinning. When you get all the way around put your foot on the pedal (or land in any other way that is good for you). The other way to do this trick is by spinning all the way around without letting go of the brakes.

Decade - To do a decade, roll forward with your left foot on the back peg and your right foot on the seat post. Do a small front brake endo for momentum. When the back wheel hits the ground, apply the back brake and pull up on the handle bars. Quickly jump over the head tube and land where the top tube meets the seat post with your left foot. It helps if you look where you want your foot to go. Let the front wheel hit the ground, and step on your pedal, which you may want to preset before starting the trick. Then ride it out.

Whiplash - Ride forward at a moderate speed then put your left foot on your left front peg and your right foot on your left back peg. WITHOUT using your brakes, shift your weight more towards your left foot on the front peg and release the right foot on your back left peg. At this point your bike should be slowly whipping around. When your bike is at about 2 o'clock put your right foot on your right front peg and take your left foot off of the left front peg. During this part of the trick you may be falling backwards. You can do a couple of things here: The first is to GENTLY feather your brakes to get your balance back. The second is to LEAN forward to regain your balance. When your bike is at about 9 o'clock catch top tube of the frame with your left foot and place your right foot on the pedal and ride off.

Flinky-Sunder - Get moving at a slow speed. Put both feet on the front pegs. Now slam on the front brakes so that the back of the bike goes up. At the same time take your feet off the pegs and spin the back of the bike around 180 degrees. While the frame is spining to the front jump over the bars. Sit on the handelbars. When the bike comes around catch it with your feet and continue riding. Backwards.

Dirt Jumping and Vert

Feeble Grind - A feeble grind is when your back peg on the rail and your front wheel rolls across the top of the rail.

No-footer - Take both your feet off the pedals and stick them out to the side. Start out small and gradually work your way up to bigger no-footers. Wile you are in the air hold your back brake so that your crank does not rotate. Practice these on the ground to learn the feel of it.(if you have a front brake) Plus it looks cool when you are riding flatland and you do this.

No-hander - Pull your front end up hard as you leave the lip of the jump. Get your bike in a near-vertical position. Your bars should be in your lap before you take your hands off. Level your bike out as you put your hands back on the bars. Make sure the bars are straight and your hands are securely back on the handlebars before landing.

Bar Spin - You need a good ramp that has a nice lip and speed. Hit the ramp as you normally would and kind of tuck your knees under the nose of the seat. Lean your body backwords and spin the bars by removing one hand and taking the hand still hanging on and spin. Wait until the bars have spun, then catch them and land. Don't get discouraged if you screw up a couple times, also the front wheel may dip a little and if this happens, clinch your knees and lean back more. It takes time, so keep trying.

Nac-nac - A cross between a can-can and a swingout, only you swing the rear of your bike to the right and take your right foot and swing it way back around behind you. And like you should always do, return to a normal riding position before landing.

One footed seat grab - Get good at a one footer and a one hander then a one footer one hander. Now do a one footer one hander and with your free hand grab the top tube. This trick looks even better if you tip your bike strait up and down. Bring yourself back to a riding position and land.

360 Nose Pick - Go towards the ramp and when at the coping, lock the front brake and swing the back end to the side. When at 180 degrees, look where you want to land and let the frame fall around the rest of the way. The trick is having enough pressure on the coping with your tire so it doesn't come off when you are at 180 degrees.

Street

Nosepick - To do a nosepick, bunnyhop and land on your front wheel on a curb or bench or any other raised surface. Land with your front brake on. Balance there on your front wheel for a second or so. Then do a small front wheel hop off of the curb. You can do this trick by jumping off a hill or a ramp, nosepick a wall, and then jump back into the ramp or hill. There are many variations of this trick like a nose-pick to tailwhip or a nosewheelie to nosepick. There are countless things you can do with it.

Nose bonk - you finds something high like a ledge or something and you drive at it with some speed and do a kick out and land your front tire on the thing and drive along and pop off. Submited by rbwal@telusplanet.net

Toothpick - Instead of stalling on the rear peg, stall on the front peg. Do this trick like a nosepick, but land on the front peg instead of the front wheel.

Icepick grind - Get a little speed and balance. These grinds are usually short, because they are hard to do for long distances. Hop up onto a railing and slide down it on your back peg.

Double peg grind - Both pegs grind across a surface. This trick is done usually on handrails and on ramp coping. When you're grinding, you need to lean over the railing to balance yourself.
