Friendship Everlast.
I can still remember our past.
Though it’s been four years now,
Since we last played together in the snow.
So many years lost,
So many experiences we could not share.
I’m so happy our paths crossed.
Now I can show you I still care.
I am so sorry,
I could not be there for you.
I’m so sad I couldn’t do
What you needed,
When you needed it most.
When you were in need, when you needed advice.
It pains me to think,
That I did not but blink
The images of our past out of my memory for so long.
I realize now,
How beautiful our past really is.
We may have grown separate,
But I’ve always known of you as a part,
Of my soul that makes me complete.
Now it’s been 4 years,
And I’ve dreamed of reconnecting
The chain links of our friendship.
Oh how I miss our wonderful past.
It’s amazing our friendship is strong enough to last.
But now,
Let me show,
That I may lend my shoulder,
For you whenever everyone else is colder.
Love is temporary,
But true friendship is everlasting.
