lisa

She is a wonderful person. She's a full-blooded Italian, and she loves me more than anything in the world. She has more heart than any woman I've ever met. We both believe that we are souls mates, and Lisa says that she would see images of me in her mind long before we met. Whether it's true or not doesn't really matter since we both believe it. So don't any one spoil our illusions since we're quite content in our blissful state of ignorance and delusion. This comment applies to any doubting Thomas who may stubble across this page. I met her in Las Vegas. She lived across the street from me. And bla bla bla...so we ended up together. I had moved to Las Vegas to help out my little sister Rachel. Really just an excuse to get the h*%# out of Provo, Utah.

I had moved to Utah to get close to my son, since my ex moved out on me and went back to Moab, Utah where she came from.

This is a picture of me and Chancy.

Nationality
I was born 1964 in the good old U.S.A. in San Francisco, CA.

It's me a few years later.

My last name, Balunsat is currently being researched. Balunsat's (we think) originally came from Ibiza. A family of Balansat's were disccovered by the Catalan's in Ibiza during the 12th century. My dad is from the Philippines. Our family there comes from the mestizo class, which basically means that they are half-breed or mixed with Spaniards.  My grandfather Antonio was the chief accountant for the Ligiton Myers Tobacco company. They were a pretty big company back in the day. My dad got a scholarship at Stockton University. My mother was a flower child living in San Francisco during the 60's when she met my dad. They met in college.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My mom's maiden name is White. My grandfather did extensive genealogy work while working in the Mormon temple. He says the White family is descended from Eric the Red. One of Eric The Red's sons migrated to England. This may be true since there are some Scandinavian names to the ancestors if you go way back. I did my own research and found out that the Whites are directly descended from Otto Gherardini from Florence Italy, but this was back in the 10th century and is another story in itself.  The White family came from England in the 16th century. They were among the early Massachusetts colonists. It was there that that they intermarried (or some such thing) with the local Indians. Actually they moved to up state New York and intermingled with the Iroquois, to be more specific, the Seneca  and Cayuga. Some say from Indian raids, but then who really knows what happened back then? Any way the family doesn't seem to want to talk about it. Or, maybe it's our families' dark little secret, Sike! My grandfather is from a long line of Methodist preachers. My granddad was a Methodist until he married my grandmother who was a Mormon. She nagged at him for 30 years to join her church, he finally did.

Thoughts on religion
What is my religion? Actually, I don't have one. I remember watching an interview on TV with Prince Charles. They were saying something about him being the defender of the Faith and he had issues because he was not the defender of any particular branch of faith but of faith in general be it whatever denomination. Anyway that really struck me as an intelligent remark and I had to concur.

Cool Job
I used to be a refrigeration contractor out of Washington D.C. and Maryland.

But now I'm a loser living in Hurricane, West Virginia. I work my a%*# off everyday at Hardees flipping burgers and stuff.
The store manager, Lessa, is real nice. The shift managers: Ernie, an ex-partyer like me, is fun to work with, Sherry, works her a*#-off like me, we get things done on our shift, and Pam, a mother of 2&1/2, she's just plain nice. Kathy, a wanna-be manager, is a b**%# and she can kiss my a**. She did stick-up for me when the mangers came from out of town. Yeh, she's got her good points, she just irks me sometimes.
3-2001
I got promoted to Supervisor Trainee, Hey, I'm not a loser anymore! Kathy got promoted to Supervisor, finally, Ernie Quit? or something, Pam Quit, Sherry got promoted to Manager and Lessa is in Training for the GM position.
3-2005
I eventually got promoted to manager, but now I'm out of the restaurant business altogether. Not much of a career for me anyway since I lack the qualities it takes to manage a large outfit. I moved out of West Virginia and I'm back doing what I do best.

Life
8-2000
So why do you think I spend my extra time on the internet making all these wonderful pages? If I could, I'd be out fishing and hiking, or at my cabin in Arizona exploring my own private wilderness, but since I can't, here I am.
3-2005
At least this is what I thought a few years ago. Now, I think I'm done with the wilderness gig.

Ha! If you think about it, who spends all their extra time on the internet making web pages? Losers (my category), lonely house wives and people who can't get out, invalids, cripples, people too lazy or too stupid to get out and get a job and get a life, or happily collecting unemployment, retirement, disability, or maybe they just inherited it, and don't have to work etc...... Or maybe they're just plain nerds. Some where along the line you have to stop and ask yourself, which one am I? SIKE!
3-2005
I can't believe I said that, what was I thinking? actually, the world wide web is a relatively new invention and everyone should make a web page. It is no longer a tool exclusive to the geeks and nerds who invented it. Now with all the software and programs available, we can all make WebPages, some of us better than others of course, but you get my  point? It astounds me that with this convenient means of sharing information, that more people haven't got involved in putting their information out there. Especially businesses. I noticed even around here, that very few businesses have a website. I tell them to get a website because I believe that it is a thing of the future.

Some ending thoughts
8-2000
Get off the internet and get a life! SIKE!
3-2005
Now why would I say something like that? Actually, I think people should spend more time on the internet and share information with the rest of us! More
