CC the Giant Great Dane, is a sweetheart. When I had my hair permed and was sitting on the edge of the bed, she jumped up and began to sniff my head. She would inhale and take my hair with her, then exhale and drool at the same time! She rested her chin on my shoulder and enjoyed the new frangrance of the curls.
Sadie with her toy while CC and Cocoa stay out of her way!!!
Overheard in a grocery store parking lot as two ladies were on their scooters, pushing their basket to their truck:
Marilynn -- "Careful Syl. This shopping basket is tilted."
Sylvia -- "It's like me, tilted and wilted!"
It's so cool when we can make jokes about ourselves and get a big belly laugh going, which we did, all the way home.
Here's a picture of one of our cats, Kiki. Well, it's a greeting card with a replica of a cat which looks hair-for-hair like Kiki. This is a cat who loves cheese and will come begging for some as soon as she hears one of us in the kitchen. Kiki heads immediately for the refridgerator, sits and "meows" until she gets cheese.
She's a talker, ask her a question and she gives a soft "meow" for an answer. If a human owner doesn't understand the difference in the tones and the subtle body language of a cat, heaven help them. Kiki will lead you to what she wants, whether it's to go outside or for some new food in her dish, she will show you the way.
Kiki's favorite resting place during the day is on top of Marilynn's scooter seat. From that perch she can endlessly tease the dogs through the slider and reign over all she surveys.
This is a picture of my sister Clare's dog, Chocolate. He lives in Connecticut and loves the snow!
Here's a picture of our cat Peanut with whom we absolutely, positively must share our food with!
And this is KiKi guarding her tidbit of chicken. As unsanitary as it may be, she prefers to join us at the table!
