PURPOSE
Welcome to the Kansas Fita State Archery Association official web site. This site will contain information on the state organization and other related sites.
The KFSAA is granted a National Archery Association of the United States (NAA) charter for the purpose of fostering and promoting the mission of the NAA (the national governing body for the sport of archery). The KFSAA is devoted to the development of archery, in all disciplines, as a means of healthful recreation and physical fitness and to the maintenance of high standards of fair play and good sportsmanship. The KFSAA's purpose is to encourage, sanction and conduct archery tournaments, competitions, clinics, and related activities through member clubs, open to all athletes and others without regard to race creed, color or national origin and under the best conditions possible so as to effectively promote the sport of archery with the general public. It is understood that the KFSAA will abide by the Constitution and Rules of the National Archery Association and the International Archery Association (FITA) as pertains to competitions under National Archery Association and FITA jurisdiction and by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Code as pertains to competitions under IOC jurisdiction.
The KFSAA will maintain active affiliation with the National Archery Association,
abbreviated and henceforth referred to as NAA.
