NMS - Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) is a problem that rarely occurs, but it is worth reading about. It reputedly is the cause of death of some Parkinson's patients when the medications are not handled well. The listserv documented what was most likely a case of NMS, and Janet Paterson has assembled the story on her website.

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome Information Service also has a website.

It is a sad fact that every web page like this must add "Disclaimers apply."
