This page is for some information on what you can do if you feel the need to self injure:
Hold an ice cube in your hand
Put a rubber band around your wrist and snap it
Go for a walk
Write it down
Call somebody
Use Deep breathing
Take a hot bath
Listen to music
Write in a journal
Punching a bed or a pillow
Go outside and scream and yell
Draw a picture of what is angering you
Go to church or your place of worship
Break the object that you use to self injure, as
a show that you have control over it
Do some cleaning
Do some cooking
Recite a poem or prayer repeatedly to give yourself comfort
Take a shower
Allow your self to cry
Make a list of reasons why you are going to stop
Self injuring your self. Every time you get the urge
read your list.
Remember that you are an important person and special and that
you DO NOT deserve to be hurt.

I have not yet overcome the desire to cut, but at least I am trying.
I know it is hard to think straight when you have the urge to cut,
I hope that maybe some of this will help some of you out.
