It all
began when I got my copy of Donkey Kong 2,
Diddy's Kong Quest. I became obsessed with
completing the game, as I'm sure you can all
relate to. I became convinced that EVERYTHING in
this game had a meaning and was in some way a
cryptic clue to the final solution. The most
puzzling of which was the kindly old school
teacher "Wrinkly Kong" and the apparent
error in math on the blackboard, in the
schoolroom and the even more crytic clue " All
my clues are useful except one." We will
anaylize the board in great detail later and see
what it could mean.

The second thing that we will look
at is the bonus levels. In each of these levels a
"clue" is staring us in the face. What
does it show us ? It appears to me to be a
treasure map with a black "X" marked
for all to see. Where is this "X"
placed ? Right where "Stronghold
Showdown" appears in the game. Now
most if not all players and boards I have talked
to believe that all you have to do is walk in to
get the Kremcoin and complete this level. Come on
you players ! With the skill and expertise of the
gang at "Rare" do you really think they
would have made this level this easy. No ! There
is, I believe, much more to this level that meets
the eye !! |

| The third thing we will look at is
Cranky Kong. You know something ... He never
really tells us the game has been completed. We
will analize exactly what he says as we progress. |

| And the fourth and
final thing is the final level, where
King K. Rool is fighting for his life.
For a fleeting moment, and only once, I
got " The King " to sit in the
pilots chair. It was very quick and just
as this was happenning poor Diddy was
being hurled, I think, to the right and
downward. I have tried to duplicate this
but so far have been unable to do it. I
can't help but feel he was going to drive
his ship somewwhere, but I don't know
where. |
