WHAT IS TOASTMASTERS?

Toastmasters International  is a world-wide , non-profit educational organization dedicated to helping people improve their communication and leadership skills.

The first Toastmasters club was founded in 1974 in California by Dr. Ralph C. Smedley. Since then the organization has grown to almost 8,500 clubs in 72 countries with close to 900 clubs in Canada.

Toastmasters  is for anyone over the age 18 and members come from various walk of life. One thing they have in common, however is a strong desire for self-improvement and helping others.

We learn best by doing. Each Toastmasters club is a learning laboratory where you'll enjoy experimenting, discovering and developing your potential.
