WHAT ARE TOASTMASTERS MEETING LIKE?

Toastmasters club meeting are conducted by the members themselves in a friendly, positive atmosphere that encourages self-improvement. Participation is completely voluntary so that you progress at a rate you feel comfortable with.

Each meeting provides an interesting variety of speaking opportunities that meet the needs of beginners as well as advanced speakers.

As part of a professionally developed program, members practice impromptu speaking and again valuable listening skills. And through prepared speeches, you learn how to make presentations that inform, persuade, inspire and entertain.

You progress through the Communications and Leadership Program in step-by-step approach to speech organization and delivery. Each speech has specific objectives that help you develop you skills one step at a time and builds upon what learned in earlier speeches.
