How could the person created from my donation contact me?
This has not yet been decided. However, a pilot contact register has been set up by UK Donorlink. The aim is to put donors and offspring in touch with each other where both have access to counselling and support if required.
Bear in mind that according to many research studies, only 10-20% of parents disclose the donation to the child. So it is very likely that the child born from your donation will never find out about its origins.
