Since leaving home at the tender age of eighteen, I have had the good fortune to live in a number of places. I believe I have a bit of an itchy foot to experience different places. However, I believe children need stability in there lives and so we have stayed put since having kids.
I grew up in a small town in Washington state with the unusual name of Zillah. I swear the town has changed more in the years since I left than it did in all its prior history.
San Diego, California is still a fun place to visit but in my opinion it is not the same place it was in the late 60's. But nothing stays the same. However, it will always have a spot in my heart as it is where I met my wife.
I spend some time in Groton, Connecticut when I was in the Navy. I know a lot of people like the east coast, but I'm a west coast boy at heart.
Bellingham, Washington was where my wife and lived after we were first married. Bellingham is about 90 miles north of Seattle and is a really nice place.
Of all the places I've lived, Monterey, California is my favorite. Unfortunately, it is also very expensive to live there.
A lot of people would give almost anything to live in Honolulu, Hawaii. In my opinion, it may be a good place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there again.
I went to college in Fresno, California. I now live in Visalia, California. Visalia is located in the San Joaquin Valley of central California.
