To The Past

Hi there. I see your interested in Genealogy!! Me too. It seems like Genealogy has become a popular topic in the past few years. Perhaps it's the connection to the past we hope will somehow help us to understand our present and future Anyway, no matter what the reason, it IS interesting , sometimes fun, and yes, even shocking. But I guess it human to be curious!!

Personally, I have many different reasons. One of which is the fact I am adopted. But in all honesty, I feel closer to my "adopted" genelogy, than to my "birth" genealogy, but I still find them both fastinating!! I am just beginning my birthright quest!! So keep stopping by so you can see how I'm doing! My Mom has been doing genelogy for years, her and I together have found lots of interesting stuff. And I'm sure lots more is to come. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the page. And find some helpful information!

FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints. Other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord, "You promised me, Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of prints in the sand. Why, When I have needed you most, you have not been there for me?" The Lord replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints is when I carried you." By Mary Stevenson (Born 11/8/22 Died 1/6/99)
