Hi, I'm Peggy, the HemiMan's other half, literaly! For everything Jay does that require
2 hands I am his left hand. I get the shower ready for him in the morning, dress him, put
his socks/shoes on & tie them, put his contacts in, and I can even tie a full windsor knot
in his tie.
As the spouse of a handicapped person/husband I have gained personal insights into
the difficulties experienced by the families of the afflicted. I have spent the last 10+ years
facing difficulties I never expected to face. Raising three children (9 months, 6, & 8 at
the time of my life partner's accident) without a fully functional spouse has been challenging,
to say the least! Having to do all of the 'manly' things around the house on top of my
responsibilties really keeps me hopping!
