STANDARD TOOL BAR
This tutorial was
written by Jemima ~9 February 2003..

************************************
This is the Standard Tool Bar in PSP7
The following information hopefully
will help you understand its uses.
***********************************

OK lets start from
Left to right...
CREATE
NEW IMAGE
When you click on this icon
the following dialogue box will appear in
which
you enter the size of the image you wish
to create,
in this case 300 x 300
with a *transparent
background
and *16.7
million colours (24Bit).
These last 2 items marked with a asterisk *
you will discover have different uses
as you tackle new tutorials.

This reduced image below is an example
resulting from the above settings.

OPEN
EXISTING FILE
When you click on this icon
the following opens so that you can
search for
an existing file on which you may wish to
work.

Once you find the folder and Image you
are looking for...
If you place your cursor over the file
name
the image will appear in the window
below,
providing you have the "Show
preview" box ticked of course.
It also provides details re the width and
height of the image.

If you require further details about the
image click
on the "Details" button

SAVE
This icon is self explanatory *S*
and I would guess it would be
the most used icon in the whole bunch *S*
Click on this and you are given the
options
as to how you wish to save your image.
PRINT
This too is self explanatory and
once it is clicked opens up the following
dialogue box where... if you click on the
"Properties" button
you are able to set up your printer to
print out your graphic.

UNDO and
REDO
These icons allow you to 'change your
mind'
about what you have just done to your
image *S*
You can eliminate as many previous steps
as you like and if you change your mind
again and decide you've
gone too far back...
just click the redo button until you
return
to the stage in your image you want to
work on further.
OK ... we'll continue this on the next
page...
