SAVING TRANSPARENT GIF IMAGES

This is the easiest method I have found to SAVE
an image with a TRANSPARENT background

 

This is the image we want to save

Notice it has a pale blue background..

What you have to do is Right Click on the background with your EYEDROPPER tool so that this colour is in the background box
as shown below.

Once you've done that...
Go to
COLOURS >>> Set Palette Transparency and
the following window will pop up.

Ensure 'Optimized Median Cut' and 'Nearest Colour'
are indicated... Click '
OK'

The following window will appear

Ensure the option indicated is set... Press 'OK'
and the window will disappear.

Go to COLOURS >>>> View Palette Transparency
as shown below

Your screen will now display your image with a transparent background as shown below,,

 

Go to FILE >>> Save as >>>
and save the image as a '
.gif' file

Simple.... wasn't it *S*
