I have been using the nym of Captain Trips ever since Steven King wrote
"The Stand". For those of you who don't know the story, Capt. Trips was the nickname of the killer flu-like disease that decimated most of the United States. Since America persists in stockpiling chemical and biological weapons, this could very well happen. Hence the nickname.
