Update : 4 March, 1999...

ShadowScene went down for a while but it has been resumed here at Fortune City. ShadowScene no longer hosts email or webpages but it will still be able to provode information on different sites, clubs, venues and links.

ShadowScene.Org originally started at Geocities as the Requiem Mass WebSite. It's purpose was to inform people of the scene about the night and the things that were going on on the night. From that a mailing list, a chat room on IRC, this domain, and many personal websites were spawned.

The domain was hosted by a friend to the scene for free on a server he had at home. It ran on a cable modem and had crashed more than once in the past. Whenever this happened we tried to inform people as to why it   happened and we tried to get the domain back online as soon as possible.

The ShadowScene Mailing List is hosted by a friend at the Obscure Organization in DC, subscription requests should be sent here. It covers the scene and just about any other stupid thing you could ever think of. The list is moderately moderated and no restrictions are placed on what you can post.

The ShadowScene Chat room on IRC was first created about a year and a half ago. It is where we go to talk, plan things and just plain old babble.  Everyone in there pretty much knows everyone so tread jokes are the norm.

With this latest incarnation the site is smaller than ever, I just had to put it back up.
