My Very Special
"Angels
Page"
This page is dedicated to two of the most
special angels in my life.
Little Steve, one of my sons,
born & died January 1966
and to Franklin Theador Porter
born 1960 and died 1996
They each took a part of me with them.
These poems are written for them
with much love.
"Baby Boy"
How am I to put this,
this thing I want to say
I guess I'll have to express it,
in my own inadequate way
I lost you many years ago,
to hatred and stupidity
With no chance to say "I love you"
or hold you close to me
I take some comfort in knowing,
that forever with God you'll be
And you'll never feel the pain again
of predjudicial humanity
So many years ago
You were taken in a tragedy
I want you to know, I miss you
And hope you've forgiven me
So walk with God my baby boy
And someday we will be
Together again in your world
At peace for eternity
......
And to Frank, whom I thank for our wonderful
years together:
"FRANK"
Your grandson was born with troubles
His heart needed surgery
He didn't really have much of a chance
Then you got down on bended knee
You asked God to let him live
And take your life in trade
Your prayer was answered, he is healthy now
And you fullfilled the deal you made
A few days later you kissed your Mom
And walked out of her door
Got into the vehicle of your friend
And she heard the engine roar
You were on your way to a party
Your heart was full of glee
When all of a sudden, fate stepped in
And you were taken away from me
It was the most unselfish thing you ever did
And it gave your grandson his life
I'm proud my darling when ever I say
Yes! I was Frank Porters Wife
Frank doing what he loved to do
...........
There is a place in my heart for both of them
and they will live there until I die.
