To Arizona

Located in the southwest of the United States it was

admitted to the Union in 1912.

State Flag is a copper star rising from a blue field of

honor in the face of a setting sun symbolizes the state's

copper industry and continued growth.

Blue and gold are the state colors.

The States Flower is the blossom of the Saguaro,

the largest cactus in the U.S. It grows to a height of 50

feet and lives up to 200 years.

As you can see it is quite large.

Arizona offers a large selection of National Parks and

National Monuments one of which is the

Grand Canyon, located in northern Arizona.

Montezuma Castle is a National Monument.

Old Tucson is a great place to visit if you want to see

what the "old west" was like.

We also have forests and mountains with scenes like

and ...

Arizona has a variety of climants which offer desert

and winding roads

Hopefully this gives you some insight into the great

state of Arizona.

I am a native of Arizona, born and raised in Prescott,

in the central part of Arizona, in some of the

mountains.

In less than an hour from Prescott, I can be at the

great Petrified Forest National Park or Sunset Crater

National Monument where a meteor hit or the

Grand Canyon.

Thank you for letting me show you some of Arizona.

If you would like to find out more about it,

I have included some Arizona links on my link page.
