HERE YOU WILL FIND SOME OF THE BEST POOLS TO FISH AROUND GLOUCESTERSHIRE & BEYOND.

STAUNTON COURT

Situated just outside the Village of Staunton on the boundaries of an old historic 13th century Manor house is this well established Fishery.

DIRECTIONS:

Depart Gloucester on A430 (North) , Turn LEFT (West) onto A417 At Maisemore , stay on A417 Arrive Staunton.

Continue through Staunton for about 1/2 a mile the turn left to fishery signposted.

There are three Pools to choose from at Staunton Court.

MAIN POOL

The Main Pool is at the entrance to the fishery with a depth of around 20ft .

This Pool is well lined with some Trees & rushes on the entrance side bank ,

But on the Manor side bank you will need to use a rod pod as this side is mainly concreted ,

housing the Manors farm buildings & car park .

Carp to 24lb+ have been caught from here.

Carp 32lb , Tench 7lb+ , Bream 9lb+ , Crucians , Roach , Rudd & Orfe.

Open for fishing all year round. Barbless hooks only.

Keith Wildgoose with a Staunton Common

SMALL POOL

The Small Pool is at the back of the Manor house with a depth of around 4 ft .

This Pool is well lined with some rushes and Ideal as a Starter Pool for Children.

Carp 7lb+ , Tench 2lb+ , Bream 2lb+ , Crucians , Roach , Rudd & Orfe.

Open for fishing all year round. Barbless hooks only.

MATCH POOL

The Match Pool is at the back of the farm building with a depth of around 20ft .

This Pool is well lined with some rushes on the entrance side bank ,

But on the Farm side bank you will need to use a rod pod as this side is mainly concreted.

Carp to 30lb have been caught from here.

Carp 20lb+ , Tench 6lb+ , Bream 7lb+ , Crusians , Roach , Rudd & Orfe.

Open for fishing all year round. Barbless hooks only.
