MYTHE POOL

Mythe Pools next to the Banks of the

River Severn just out side Tewksbury in Gloucestershire .

MYTHE POOL

Mythe Pool is the largest Pool in the BAA southern region ,

with a depth of around 4ft to 6ft in the margins & 6ft to 8ft in the middle.

This pool is lined with over hanging trees , Bushes & lily pads giving good cover for fish to hide.

Summer fishing here is very good for Rudd , Large Perch , Bream , Crucians , Tench & the odd Carp. I have had 43lb in a days session of bream here in the summer on sweet corn.

Winter fishing can be hard here but there are some good Pike to 15lb & Large Eels in the pool.

Its well worth a cast in Summer or winter here.

MAIN SPECIES : Carp to 20lb+ , Tench to 5lb+ , Pike to 20lb+ , Bream to 6lb+, Perch to 3lb , Crucian Carp ,

Rudd , Roach , Dace & Large Eels.

There are some  very good Bream worth catching here in the summer!

Note: Both Keith & I are BAA Bailiffs for the Area and have fished Mythe pool Many times.

There are there are some Big Crucian Carp to be found here.
