AMENDMENT I I I

 

No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

 

During war time or peace time, the government does not have the right to ask any anyone to share housing with any soldier, unless a law is passed stating exactly the manner it is to occur.

Remember, laws can originate only by Congress and only after the President sign it does it become a law!
