PUT AN IMMEDIATE STOP to the CIRCUMVENTING OF OUR CONSTITUTION
Replace ALL trust funds with the supposed "surplus", INCLUDING returning ALL Social Security and ALL Medicare funds and separate these two funds so they can no longer be used for any other reason but for what they are intended. If these funds acquire "real" surplus over time, use those specific surpluses for increasing only those benefits;
Cut taxes and continue cutting taxes yearly until it is absolutely necessary to raise taxes;
Pay down the Federal debt and continue to pay it down to a ZERO Federal debt within 5 years (not 10-15 years);
Work diligently toward a "True Annual Balanced Budget " (all monies placed above board as either an expense or a credit bringing the balance forward from one year to the next, which includes our deficit);
Put a moratorium on ALL Social programs and ALL pork-barrel projects until the ones we have are reviewed, keeping only those programs deemed to be substantially beneficial & absolutely necessary for the Federal government and cutting the others;
Budget, appropriate, & pass legislation ONLY on those items that are the Constitutional responsibility of the Federal Government. All else, let it be up to the States and the People;
Truly work on Campaign Finance Reform - Get rid of PACS! Let the voices of the individual voters be heard. After all, it is the individual voters who elect you to office;
Stop financing private industry with our hard-earned taxes;
Reign in the powers usurped by the Executive Branch that belongs only to the Legislative Branch and stop the excessive use of Executive Orders. Executive Orders are only used to enhance or change policy relating to the President's administration. The President cannot and should not legislate to the people. Per our Constitution, the President does not have the power to legislate!
Reign in the powers usurped by the Federal Government as a whole and abide by the powers granted to each branch of the federal government. Any power not granted by the Constitution belongs to the States and the People! Stop circumventing our Constitution and usurping the power of the States and the People!
Get rid of the Internal Revenue Service entirely and re-train only those necessary personnel for the Budget Office, who would then be responsible for directly collecting a national sales tax, sent in directly by the corporations. Stop giving corporations tax breaks. The American People are sick and tired of having our incomes taxed. We need every penny we earn to take care of our families.
Most importantly, all bills passed by Congress and signed into law by the President (past, present, & future) should also apply to all branches of the Federal Government. Over the years, Congress has exempted themselves from many laws. If you pass a law for the people, then it should apply to you also, no exceptions. That's one of the many issues creating doubts in the People about the functioning of our present government. What's "good" for the People, should be "good" for all people falling under the three branches of government. After all, the Constitution did not ever imply that our representatives elected to office was ever "better" than the People and therefore, should have separate rights or powers that are above the People".
