A brief synopsis of DREAMERS
Growing up in small-town America,
Dave, an introvert who is mocked by his peers, and Ethan, talented
and popular but constantly troubled by his dysfunctional family, both
view their hometown in Small Town America as a dead-end and set
out in search of making their fantasies of "movie-like" life.
Ethan does move to Hollywood first, but cannot escape the torment
of his domestic life as he is forced to take his divorced mother along.
Soon after, Dave decides to step out of his conservative family's
shadow and join Ethan. Riding on his dreams of fortune and fame,
Dave arrives on Ethan's Hollywood film set, only to find a young man
defeated by the hard realities of show business.
Dave is determined to restore
Ethan's faith and continue their
swirling vorte of Hollywood. But
the two friend soon discover that
life has its own destiny for
everyone.
I hope to provide more information on the movie and Brian's role as Pete in DREAMERS as well. At this time I don't know when the movie will be released but I do know it will only be in limited release at first. Stay tuned!
