The 1998 Concours Italiano in Carmel, California, USA, was a great collection of some fine Italian automobiles. I tried to take enough pictures to impart to others a sense of how awesome this event was. Hopefully, I succeeded. Enjoy the pictures.

This event just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I have over 600 pictures that Dave Okada and I took or video-captured from this event. Yes, they are nicely categorized and thumbnailed.

If you love sports cars and have never been to a road race, you're missing out on an awesome event. The cars in these races are incredible. I have seen Mercedes CLK GTR's, Porsche 911 GT1's, a Panoz, a couple of Marcos LM's, McLaren F1s, and a bunch of other cars, all duking it out at high speed. It's well worth the price of admission.

A few months ago, some people in the San Fransisco Bay Area expressed interest in starting a new club, which has now been named Club Z. The first meeting occurred on Saturday, December 5th, 1998. But before this, some of the people who would eventually get involved in Club Z had another meet.

Auto shows are a great place to find out what lots of different cars are like in a short period of time. You can sit in the driver's seat of most cars, play with the radios of some, and generally see how everything works. Some of the most expensive cars are kept locked, but they'd probably unlock them for a serious buyer. I have pictures from some of the auto shows I've attended.
