There is just so much that I want to say, that
it will be hard to decide what to do first.

I have a real passion for books and will begin to tell you about some of my favorite authors. Right now I'm recommending a terrific series of books about a female vampire hunter named Anita Blake. The author is Laurell K. Hamilton. It is really imaginative and one of the few fantasy series that I have read.

I seem to read more mystery stories than anything else but I do enjoy Stephen King, especially his older books. The Stand is my all time favorite book and I read it every few years.

Okay, I finally got around to reading the four Harry Potter books (borrowed them from my sister, finished the lot in less than two weeks--it would have been shorter time than that, but Christmas plans kept getting in the way!!) Now I have to wait with baited breath, just like all his other fans, to see what will happen next......???? You will notice I wrote a short review, so check it out, if you are so inclined.

Then, if I run out of words (not likely), I can share some of my other interests.

I love to travel. We just don't get to go as often as I'd like! I may want to write about some of the great trips we have taken or tell you about some of the really wonderful travel sites on the Web. I can scan some of our photos and share them with you.

I am a collector and a "saver". Besides teddybears, which I have featured in my other website, I collect baskets, glass paperweights, little glass animals and Fenton glass as well as a few pieces of depression glass. I have a nice little collection of Angels and I collect cookbooks. I have an interest in old cookware and kitchen utensils and I've collected Christmas tree ornaments for over 35 years. I also collect Rosaries, books and antique cameras. And, I'm probably forgetting something! I'm sure you get the idea. It's no wonder that my house is so FULL!
