Background
----------------
5 months after D-Day the allies invade Norway in
an attempt to finally
bring Germany to a capitulation and to secure the Scandinavian sector
from
future Soviet dominiation. The allied - soviet relations already tense
after the allied landings in the Balkans 1943 rapidly detoriates. Instead
of launching the Soviet winter offensive towards the european centre
Stalin
decides that time has come to deal with the allied matter. The plan
is to
occupy Sweden and to throw the allied forces out of Norway. In late
October
massive russian troops gathers at the finnish front forcing a breakthrough.
The 8 november 1944 soviet forces crosses the borders of Sweden...
