Preparation-
1- Open PSP, .( I am sure you knew that)
2- Bring up the picture you want to use. click on the rope on the tool bar.
3- Go to image, resize, and put 200 in width. The height will change automatically.
4- Bring up your circle. It may look like this one.
I am using a gray circle with a white background. but you can change the colors later.
5- You can have the circle as a start 250x265. Resize it like you did the picture.
6- Go to File, New put in at width, 300 and the height 300. Transparent also. This will bring up a transparent image. Transparent has two different color squares in it. Usually gray and white.
7- Now click on the image with the circle.
8- Go to edit, copy
9- Click on the transparent image, go to edit, paste, as new selection. This should put the circle on the transparent.
10- Now go to the magic wand on the tool bar.
If you put your cursor over each picture, it will say what it is but the magic wand looks like a magician's wand.
11- Now click the circle on the transparent. Things that looks like ants will appear around the circle.
12- Go to edit, cut. This will make the color of the circle disappear.
13- Click on the rope on the tool bar.
14-Click somewhere one the image.(still same picture)
15-Now go to the tool bar again and click on the square above the rope.
13- Go back to the image you are working one and
make a square around it on the color around the circle.
14- Go to image, crop to selection. This will take away the transparent border
Now you can close out the image that has the circle that is colored gray in it.
15- In your psp now you should have the picture you want to use and the circle with transparent in the middle. That is the preparation and you are ready to start.
NOTE---Now the only thing you will have problems with this tutorial is that I am terrible with Math. You have to make the pictures smaller then the circle so you will have to play with the re-sizing along the way. Keep that in mind. *smile*
Okay, let's Start-
1- Click on the actual picture you are using.
2- Go to image, canvas size and put in 400x500 if you want. It mainly should be bigger then the picture. This will put your picture with a colored border around it.
3- Now click on the circle and go to edit, copy.
4- Click back on the picture again
5- Go to edit, paste, new selection.
6- Adjust it where you want it so the picture is showing how you would like it in the globe and Click.
7- (this will make the running ants around it.) Now if the picture is too narrow on the sides, you need to hit the control key on your keyboard and Z at the same time. Keep hitting this till it brings you back to step 1. you need to go to image, resize, and a box will appear. In the bottom of the box is two check boxes. The one that says, Maintain aspect ratio, UNCHECK that one.
8- Then put in the size you want in the width if that is what is too narrow or the height if that is too small. And go back to step 2.
9- Now click somewhere on the picture. And you should see this-
10- Click on the square on the tool bar above the rope.
11- Click on the image and make a square around the circle but leave some of the white there.
12- Got to edit, copy
13- Now go to File, new, transparent, stay with the same numbers as before is you wish. 300x300 and click OK
14- Now go to edit, paste, new selection. And click again ants will be around the picture.
15- Click somewhere else on the transparent.
16- Go to the tool bar and choose the wand again.
17- Click on the white part outside the picture
18- Go to edit, cut.
19- Go back to tool bar and click on the rope.
20- Click somewhere on the picture. Now you have the picture in a circle.
Now you need to bring up the glass circle.
21- Go to image, resize and resize it to the size of the picture circle. Maybe start out at width 150 and if it is too big then you will have to back to resize, and play with the number.
NOTE- Remember to always click on the image you are using before and after anything. It is just that way.
And to test it, you need to be on the glass and then go to edit, copy
and then click back on the picture and go to edit, paste.
You may have to go back and forth like this till it is the right size.
22- Once you have the glass with the right size. Put it on the picture.
23- Go to edit, copy and then click on the picture, go to edit paste, as new selection and click.
24- And click somewhere on the transparent. You should have a picture inside a glass circle! I can't put up a picture of a transparent cause it will turn black here.
25- Now go to edit, copy.
26- Go to edit, paste, new image. There! You have a globe!.
27- You can close out the other stuff now.
Now that you have a picture in a circle, you can bring up your bases that you would like to use. You may have to change the sizing.
Or you can take flowers and minimize them to fit around the globe.
You can pretty much do anything.
With PSP, you can make any picture smaller or bigger to put on something else.
When you go for the snowflakes or sparkles, you can make them smaller
and if you would like maybe dog bones for a dog globes,
you can make them smaller to float around.
Your imagination roams here.
Now you can move onto my animation tutorial to make them animated.
Animation Tutorial
To animate globes is pretty easy. All you do is bring up your globe you want animated, and the thing you want to animate, example- snow.

3-Now go to the snow.
4- Go to the tool bar and click on the rope.
5- Click on the snow and while holding down the mouse button, make a circle around one of the snow flakes.
6- now go to edit, copy
7- Click on the first globe, and hit edit, paste, new selection, click.
8- Repeat edit, paste, new selection, click. Till you have enough snow desired. You can make them random as snow is just that way.
9- Now move on and do the same with the second and third globe. Make sure you put the snow in different place from the other globe.
10- Once you are happy with each globe, you go to file, save as and pick a name for it,

18- do add image and click on the second globe,
19- add image and click on the third globe
20-click next, and finished.
21 This will show your three globes in a frame style.
22 ? Now go up to the tool bar on top, and click on view, animation. This will show you the globe as it will appear on your page.
23- If you like it the go to file, save as and name it. That is all! You have done your first globe!
