Dream 1 (RF2292)
Okay…the whole dream was surprisingly well structured (and surprisingly violent), so there's going to be some detail…
Real-World Characters:
Me (known as TMK in the dream)
Kalin Sathya
Phillip Emily
Molly Dan
Abeeda Shyaam
Setting: Evening, damp summer night, TMK's house (a large, desolate castle on the outside, but on the inside a high-tech marvel)
Ah…never mind…eschew it all…It would really take too long to pour all the detail into it. If I did, it would come out as a little novella.
I'm inviting the aforementioned characters over to my house for a small party of sorts (we're all grown up, mind you). Kalin, Dan, and Shyaam are in my AV room toying around with my gadgets. Phillip is flirting with Abeeda and Molly by the punch tables. Sathya and Emily are chatting with TMK and watching World Cup soccer on couches in the living room (which is more like an auditorium with a big screen TV on a wall). Wherever we are, we're all having a jolly good time.
Suddenly, BAM! BAM! BAM! Three deafening raps on the massive front door. All attention focuses on the doors, or what's behind them. Phillip, like a complete idiot, walks up to the door and opens it, revealing…
Six men and one woman storm through the doors, knocking Phillip to the floor as they do. Not a person flinches, not even the pet mouse, except TMK. He gets up and moves out quietly, escaping the newcomers before they arrive in the living room. He sets up at a place on the nearby stairway.
The seven, over the next five minutes, prove that they are clearly terrorists. The first thing they do is to shut everybody in the living room. They then demand that the home's master, TMK, concede to them the lion's share of his fortune (not described). When the leader realizes TMK's not there, he fatally injures Phillip (with a pistol, I think). The hostages recoil in shock. TMK has no idea as to who was shot; he just knows he'll have a white carpet to clean…and a body to bury. He moves up the staircase, out of sight. The leader instructs the woman to keep an eye on all the males in the room while two others are sent looking for TMK. The leader also issues an ultimatum to all in the building to the tune of this: “If you don't show yourself soon, I'll shoot one hostage every minute until there's no one left or until you show.”
TMK, of course, is concerned for the guests. Things go from bad to worse, however, for the protagonist as the two henchmen sent to find him do so, and tie him up. They commence dragging him back to the living room. On the way, though, one of them (the henchmen) farts loudly, knocking out all three men. TMK survived it (Don't ask me how, it was awful), reviving before the others. Anyway, he magically breaks the binding like Godzilla and locates two pistols. Meanwhile, two men are fatally wounded. Phillip is the first to go, and Danny follows.
At this point the story becomes too intense…No, I did not wet my pants over the course of this dream…I'll break it down a little more: I'm armed with stink bombs, exploding bananas, and two grenades and standing some twenty feet above the living room (magically I can see in now)…they (three of them) have much less (can't remember exactly)…and here we go…Things get wild and wacky…
Sequence of battle: TMK launches a stink bomb, the first volley. It hit directly, but doesn't KO the terrorists. The leader fires a small grenade, which misses TMK completely and wipes out my stairway, trapping me up there. TMK returns with a decoy grenade, which terrifies the hostages (they know who they are). The woman tosses an iron in TMK's direction. It misses, but sets fire to the platform behind him. He panics, tossing a stink bomb back in their direction. Meanwhile, the two hostages plot to escape. Kalin tosses a rope up at TMK, and he seems to understand the plan. TMK tosses his last stink bomb in their direction and anchors the rope to an imaginary pole. The stink bomb effectively KO's the terrorists and leaves the path clear for TMK's entry. TMK drops down to the living room floor and rescues both Sathya and Kalin.
They escape the room, and I take my time leaving an explosive gift for my friends, if you catch my drift. Game, set, and match. I win.
