Noel arrived in Quebec June 4 1634 aboard the ship the Saint Jehan. Pierre de Nesle was the Captain.

Robert Giffard gave him, on June 29, 1637, 300 arpents of ground, a planted field of mature standing timber, and added to it another arpent cleared and sown with wheat (?). This concession faced the St. Lawrence River and extended in depth to the Montmorency River.
