Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to touch base with everyone concerning the First Fridays schedule.
Mass: 8:00 am
Adoration begins immediately following Mass. Our group will stay until the Blessed Sacrament has been exposed, then quietly leave. We need two mothers to rotate staying in Adoration, so that we know that the Blessed Sacrament is never left alone. We are aware that there will be others from Mass who will stay, but we cannot take that chance. Please make sure to eat breakfast BEFORE if you volunteer to do this, we will make sure your children are well fed and taken care of! LOL (Sign up will come soon.) One mother will stay from 8:30 to 9:00 and the next mother will stay from 9:00 till 9:30, when the Virtues Co-ops and Adoration begin.
Breakfast begins approx. 8:45 and ends when clean up begins at 9:15. Children need to QUIETLY go to the bathroom at this point, if they need to. Remember that the Blessed Sacrament is exposed now, so Quiet is the Key here.
Virtues Co-ops begin at 9:30
Little Saints -- Prayer, Adoration, Activities/Craft
Catholic Kids -- (Groups A and B) Prayer, Saints/Bible Book-it, Adoration, K4J program
PHF -- Prayer, Saints/Bible Book-it, Adoration, PHF program
Mom's Bible Study -- Prayer, Adoration, Bible Study
Adoration Schedule:
9:30-10:00 Mom's Bible Study -- Begin and recite 1st decade of the Rosary, remaining time in quiet prayer.
10:00-10:05 Little Saints (will enter to Cry Room) -- Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.
10:05-10:20 KC Group A -- second decade of the Rosary, remaining time in quiet prayer.
10:20-10:35 KC Group B -- third decade of the Rosary, remaining time in quiet prayer.
10:35-11:00 Mom's in Nursery -- fourth decade of the Rosary, remaining time in quiet prayer.
10:45-11:00 PHF -- fifth decade of the Rosary, closing prayers of Rosary with Mom's from Nursery.
10:55-11:00 All return to Church for the Sacrament being Reposed.
11:00 Sacrament Reposed.
Bathroom break till 11:10
Blue Army Cadets -- 11:10 till 11:55
Angelus recited in Church at Noon.
Pizza Hut (on Hwy 60) for Book-it coupon recipients begins around 12:30-12:45 for lunch!
