There's been a bunch of versions of this circuit over the last quarter century and lots of good stuff generated through my 40 year association with amateur radio. This gadget is relatively simple and is a neat tool to have around in lightning-prone zones.</div> <bR> <div> The photo in the sidebar is of an advanced version that triggers a total power transfer to an alternate supply when multiple strike energies reach a pre-determined threshhold.
