PC811
Discriminator
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The MTB Associates model PC811 Pulse Discriminator features a unique approach to single channel pulse detection. A problem frequently encountered in pulse discrimination is the baseline shif that occurs when the input count rate varies. The PC811 incorporates automatic pulse burst clamp stretch compensation that virtually eliminates baseline shift, therefore insuring repeatable, accurate pulse discrimination. In addition, the output circuitry is designed with a non-retriggerable MECL one-shot that can be modified for pulse widths between 8 nanoseconds and 10 microseconds.
FEATURES
- MECL compatible output - adjustable pole-zero cancellation
- automatic baseline compensation - low power consumption
- integral X10 input amplification - standard footprint
