Specials: An elite branch of the Earth Alliance military, staffed and trained by the Romefeller Foundation, which specialized in mobile suit combat. It serves as a cover for OZ's infiltration of the Alliance command structure.
United Earth Sphere Alliance: The organization that governs both Earth and the space colonies. Often referred to as the Earth Alliance, or simply the Alliance. Though created to unite the world and maintain peace, the Alliance is a military organization that rules through force.
Zero System: Invented by the five scientists. Works on the basic principle of integrating the pilot's brain waves with the actual mobile suit. All information that are detected by the system's sensors are the normal human receptors of sight, sounds, taste, smell, and touch straight to the brain. Furthermore, any information or thoughts that the pilot is contemplating or pondering about will also be detected by the Zero System. The system will then analyse and edit these "thoughts" and transmit the "thoughts" back to the pilot's brain within nanoseconds. Thus, the reaction-time of the pilot is almost down to zero, as the system has become his "eyes and ears" so to speak. The neuro-sensory-system of the pilot will be stimulated and his combat skills increases exponentially. The Zero System was installed into 3 mobile suits only: the Wing Zero, the Epyon, and the Sandrock. The Zero System also has some dangerous side-effects. The Zero System places immense mental burden onto the pilot's brain. The average pilot can not cope with this pressure, and their brain will suffer from information overload, inducing them to lose insanity (like Quatra did, nearly blowing Trowa to smitherines). The Zero System also has even more dangerous side effect. as mentioned before, the Zero System tracks down all enemy targets and feed them directly into the pilot's mind. Furthermore, it will also analyse any thoughts that the pilot have in his mind. Thus, if there are no physical targets nearby, the Zero System will continue to search for potential enemies, anything that lurks within the pilot's brain (anything that slightly annoys him or have doubt about) will be interpreted by the system as an "enemy". The system will then edit this information and transmit it back into the pilot's brain immediately. Now a simple idea or thought has turned the into a "real enemy" in the pilot's mind, and he will not stop until that "enemy" is destroyed. Once that has been done, the process restarts again and the pilot will find his next "enemy". Therefore, the danger with the Zero System is that it causes the pilot to see anything that is remotely threatening, or anything that makes him angry as his enemies, including him into a continual spree until the pilot dies from information overload. Only Heero Yuy (aka "The Perfect Soldier"), and the eventual owner of the Wing Zero was able to master this system successfully. Miliardo Peacecraft was also able to control it to an extent.

Mobile Dolls: The mobile dolls are a new breed of fighting machines. These all fully mechanical mobile suits, except that it contains no cock-pit. The entire mobile doll is controlled by a central computer, and this computer makes all the battle decisions by itself. In comparison to a normal pilot, mobile dolls are extremely powerful. The computerization allows for fast reaction time and co-ordination as well as pin-point accuracy in aiming and attacking. Operation Meteor: Plan by the colonies to take out OZ buy sending Gundams on Earth disguised as shooting stars.
OZ: A secret society created by the fomefeller Foundation, which plots to infiltrate the Allinace and take control of Earth. The leader of OZ is Treize Kushrenada.
Romefeller Foundation: A powerful arms manufacturer that develops and provides the Alliance with mobile suits. Their influence over the Alliance leads to the cruel oppression of the conquesred colonies.
Sanc Kingdom: A small European nation dedicated to pacifism that was wiped out by the Earth Alliance 13 years ago. Its ruler, King Peacecraft, was killed and his children Miliardo and Relena disappeared.
