HOW TO GET HERE:
From the South: Take the NYS Thruway to Exit 21 - Catskill. Follow the signs to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge ($1.00 toll). Cross the bridge, following Rt. 23 to the left on the other side. Continue past Columbia-Greene Community College and go through the next traffic light, until you come to another traffic light intersection. Turn left onto Route 9H (Route 9 will take you to this intersection as well if you are coming from Dutchess County). Take Route 9H North for about 8 miles, going THROUGH the light in Claverack, THROUGH the yellow blinking light, and turning left at the light where you hit Route 66. Go one and a quarter miles and you will see Humane Society Road on the right hand side - we're the first set of buildings down that street!
From the West: Take Route 23 going East to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, and follow the above directions starting with "Cross the bridge."
From the East: Take Route 23 going West to the light at the intersection with Route 9H in Claverack. Turn right, and follow the above directions starting with "the light in Claverack."
From the North: Take Interstate 90 East to Exit 12 - Hudson. Get on Route 9 going South. Follow Route 9 about 6-7 miles until you hit a LARGE intersection with LOTS of traffic lights. Bear right and get on Route 9H going South. Follow Route 9H for approximately 12 miles until you reach a stoplight (it will be the first one you reach after going that far!). Turn Right onto Route 66. Go one and a quarter miles and you will see Humane Society Road on the right hand side - we're the first set of buildings down that street!
