OK, so I know there are people who don't like the words "UNDER CONSTRCUTION", the dreaded BLINK TAG, no graphics and all variety of complaints. Well, I say you can't please everyone, so GET OVER IT. I'm going to slowly add content, because although I'm probably a webaholic, I do have a life outside of this computer. I have a family, a job, 5 cats, and like to watch some television and read. And since I live near the sun and fun capital of the world, Washington, DC I act like a tourist once in a while. So come back and look for changes and welcome to my world.

I consider myself a Christian, but I don't go for all the religious legalism, like the Pharisees in the times of Christ. I am a political moderate, so I don't think anyone is completely right.I don't believe in being "politically correct", just believe in showing respect for those who deserve it. Two Biblical verses come to mind "He who is without sin, cast the first stone", when Jesus was talking to the Samarian adulteress and "Don't try taking the splinter out of your brother's eye until you take the plank for yours". It espectially applies to all that is going on in politics, whether it's in Washington or some small town in the Midwest. I don't have a favorite sports team, but I'll watch a game of something once in a while. I just think that sports stars get paid too much, and think they can get away with anything. Not a good thing for kids to grow up with. I don't really have a favorite anything in music, books or movies, so I'm not someone you can pin down. I'm just me.

I've been "surfin' the net" for about 3 years now, and I've found a lot of interesting sites. I'm not going to link to the IMDB, MSNBC, ad nauseum. I'm sure everyone has that stuff bookmarked. I spent 15 years in the U.S. Army, including Desert Storm. I like to cook, keep up with politics somewhat and check out personal webpages among other things. So the links you see here will be related to that and more. Just keep coming back, you never know what you'll find.
