| THE NAME GAME |
My name is Lauren. I shan't give out my last name; I'm paranoid as it is. So instead, I use Eblan as my last name. I have multiple names, as I did before, but not as stupid. I'm still known as Lauren the Anti-Social, but no one believes me. And Kruspe is OVER. Forget that gorilla-man, I'm sticking with the videogame guys. So anyway, I'm either Lauren Eblan, or Testament Rainrix. I'm usually just called Eblan, anyway. I feel like one of the guys. Coolness. So here's the rundown: My REAL name is Lauren, my FAKE name is Eblan, and my NICKNAME is Eblan. Got it? I don't really care either way, so don't worry about it. On a final note, I still go by Rammstein Engel and FyreEngel, occasionally, but not very often now that I'm not RAMMS+EIN's Biggest Fan anymore. What do I do in my free time? I listen to music, especially hard rock, industrial, heavy metal, and techno types (add them together and you've got RAMMS+EIN, basically). I play videogames, especially RPGs like Final Fantasy, and fighting games like Tekken, and of course Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, and Oddworld series. What's what? A list, you say? Hell yeh, I can do that! I love making lists. HA HA HA. Final Fantasy (esp. 4, 6, and 7) Xenogears Star Ocean: The Second Story Wild ARMs (although I haven't played it in a few years) Tekken (all of 'em!) SoulEdge Soul Calibur Evil Zone/Eretzvaju Tomb Raider (I didn't like the ending to The Last Revelation, though) Resident Evil (I got a DC for Code Veronica! Wesker kicks your ass. Nyeh) Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, one of the coolest, ass-kickenest game ever created. I tend to scream "Vae Victus!" at times, now, thanks to Simon Templeton's awesome Kain voice-over. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver - the BEST VIDEOGAME EVER MADE, and I am anxiously awaiting the sequel. I love Raziel. I love his voice, Michael Bell (I wonder what he looks like...). I love the gameplay. I love the Nosgoth landscape. I love the cool killing stuff Raziel gets to do. I love the humans who worship me. I love Soul Reaver. Raziel is God. I have a Raziel Shrine. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus (this one's better) Metal Gear Solid There's more, but I can't think of em all right now. Videogames are my goddamn LIFE, so don't act surprised. I also watch some TV; CSI, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Night Court, M*A*S*H, and Whose Line is it, Anyway?, with Clive Anderson, Whose Line is it Snywa?, with Drew Carey, Gundam Wing, etc. Movies, too. I like movies. So far, my favorites are The Matrix, Blade, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, John Carpenter's "Vampires", Interview With the Vampire, The Exorcist...and I'm looking forward to seeing The Cell, Bless the Child, The Watcher, Dracula 2000, . Oh yeh, don't forget Fushigi Yuugi, Tekken, Blood Reign, Ghost in the Shell, Final Fantasy, Trigun, Sin: The Movie, Samurai X, and X/1999 in the anime department...I think I have more but I forget... Manga is another hobby of mine now, along with reading regular books. My favorite manga are Blade of the Immortal (absolute fav. It's the ass-kickinest manga ever drawn), Ghost in the Shell, Battle Angel Alita, Strain, Fushigi Yuugi, Oh My Goddess!, Ranma 1/2, etc. I do read regular books, too, and my favorites right now are the Resident Evil novelizations by SD perry. I own 1 ans 3, the novelizations of RE1 and RE2, respectively. They're awesome. Also, Interview with the Vampire, the Xanth series, stuff by Stephen King (Misery is awesome), among others that I'm reading in Bestsellers class. That class rules. We sit and read for 40 minutes every day. Ahh, I need that. And I also need to read The Vampire Lestat. I have the Resident Evil Collection One comic book, as well, and THAT kicks ass, too. Also, since I'm getting back into good old American comics again, I have the Tomb Raider Saga of the Medusa Mask, Ren and Stimpy issues 1-9 (from a LONG time ago, but they still kick ass), Witchblade issues 1-8, the Vagrant Story preview comic, and naturally, the Soul Reaver comic. They don't do Raziel much justice, but a few shots of him are awesome (ie, the last panel, where he needs a napkin to wipe the blood off his mouth, though I wouldn't mind doing it myself, hehe). I also draw a lot. I'm not necessarily very good but I love to draw. I draw all through school. Thank GOD for Art class. My teacher kicks ass. She actually ENCOURAGES drawing on your notes.
