A Child of Mother Culture
When I watch you,
Toiling for meaningless goals.
Stubbornly striving for "salvation,"
Asking for forgiveness,
Begging for release
From a world you've ruined,
Changing nothing.
Or
When I see you,
Ignoring the future
In your disgusting greed.
Recklessly ruining nature;
Holding yourself holy;
Submitting to the lull of a culture
That will destroy you.
Or
When I beg you
To end the madness,
And listen to your heart,
Not to any 'Book'.
I beg you to listen
To recognize a fault
And call it your own.
But
Since you refuse
I stand up.
To reveal your blunder
I stand up.
