Leviathan doesn't just RESULT in death; it IS death. It is the death of freedom from the instant of its birth. It is death in the toil and sickness and unhappiness of the lower classes, from its beginning. It is death in the upper classes' failure to ever really be alive. It is death of thought and feeling in favor of conformity, the death of the individual spirit in service to the machine. It is genocide, it is extermination, it is death to all that stands in its way, from whole societies to whole species to whole ecosystems. It is a war against life. It is the death of reason and morality in sacrifice to ruthless progress. It is stagnation of spirit even in the midst of constant plenitude and constant change. It is the death of the community. It is the death of hope. It is its own death. Its ultimate purpose is to make the entire world serve it. In doing so it kills the life it lives off of, and in killing that life it kills itself.
