Savior

A savior that saves us
From 10 thousand years survival
To live in the disgust
Of convenience and bauble

A savior that "rescues"
From continuity and love
Into a culture that views
Itself far above

Far above other cultures
We even lay claim
That these other cultures
Exist merely by name

A savior that dares claim
That such a culture is
The epitome of all God's aim
Surely, no savior 'tis!
