This is a view looking down the long parallel cement paths towards the memorial itself. There is a propellor with 2 small plaques and 2 flag poles. On the 4th of July each year, the United States flag and the Australian flag are flown together. There are flowers placed by local school children on behalf of the community and the Australian people.
