Me, Myself, and I
or, who I am
I am a 19 year old female, from a little town
called Red Oak, Iowa, USA. Yes, I am a college student, but not in
Red Oak. I go to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, only about
50 miles from home. Enough for the nuts and bolts, here's ME:
Who am I?

I am a lover of subtle beauty.

I am oyal to a fault, but not to many.
-
I hurt deeply.
-
There is almost always music in my head.
-
I'm like a tomato: I look smooth, tough, and cool,
but the slightest jab bruises invisibly.
-
I do not forgive betrayal.
-
I'm so many different people inside that sometimes
I don't recognize myself. One day I am bubbling and careless, the
next taciturn, cool, even harsh.
-
I cry at movies.
-
I totally contradict.
-
I expect 1000X more from myself than from anyone
else.
-
I cannot sleep with my door open, or my feet uncovered.
-
Deep down, I don't care what other people think.
-
I trust too easily on the small stuff, and too rarely
on the big.
-
I love fish and candles.
-
I hate alarm clocks and telephones.
-
I sleep with a teddy bear.
What's up with
my life?
I'm going back to school pretty soon... Not particularly
looking forward to all that studying, but then, who would? I've been helping
my brother move into his new trailer home. He's going to stay there
a few years while he finishes school, then I'll move in and hopefully go
to vetrinary school there. It's a pretty nice place, but it's got
some nasty stinks, pee under the fridge, one bedroom that smells like dog,
and another that smells like smoke. But we got those out pretty good.
One of my fancy goldfish lost both her eyes.
I feel horribly guilty about it, although it wasn't directly my fault...
My brother's turtle, Dribble, laid eggs, so he is now a she and nicknamed
Dribblet.
Here's a picture of me, but don't get too excited
about it. It's not all that thrilling. Plus, it's not working
right. Go figure.
