These little thoughts can be used in
sermons or on church message signs.
 You can often tell a man's principles by the character of his enemies. "Woe unto you, when all men speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets." (Luke 6:26)
A man's true character is determined by what he does when he knows no one is looking. "And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;" (Col. 3:23)
You can't get anywhere unless you start."The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing." (Prov. 20:4)
The fellow that does things that count, doesn't stop to count them."Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?" (Prov. 20:6)
Faith which works is a force, faith which doesn't work is a farce."For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." (James 2:26)
The golden rule has no value unless you realize that you must make the first move."And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same." (Luke 6:33)

When you need to make a choice for Christ and don't make it, that in itself is a choice."He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad." (Matt. 12:30)
Eternity is a long time to regret the decisions you should have made."For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Mark 8:36)

Unfortunately, today's criminals know more about their rights than they do about their wrongs."Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil." (Eccl. 8:11)
