I'm almost done with the spring semester at CSU Sacramento with just three left to go. Next week I start my new position with the Forest Service as an "Engineering Aid" helping to map the roads and trails of the El Dorado National Forest. I will be using a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver to record the locations and elevations of Forest roads and trails that will be used to create a computer map of the area. Time to get a new pair of hiking boots!

Jon just got his driver's license on Friday. He passed with a 100% on his first try. A lot better than my record. :)
