Coping with Today
Relationships are one of the most difficult things in life after the experiences we have
shared. Even for the children, loving, trusting, with the fear of getting hurt.
Yet friends or companions are so much needed by all of us & we have always
been such a close family with lots of hugs to share. I hope the children do
better than I have, because no matter who I am with, I am always looking
back for what we once had.

![]() He isn't there to ask how my day went. He isn't there to hug after his long day's work.
He isn't there to share dinner with us and he isn't there to proof their
homework or help with special class reports.
He isn't there to hold my hand when we take a walk and he isn't there to
join me in the swing. He isn't there to hold me at night and he isn't there
to answer the door late in the evening.
He isn't there to hang the Christmas lights nor to take a Christmas tree
to school for the class party. He isn't there for our children's birthdays,
oh God I miss my Charlie.
