Miss Rita White became a part of Engleside Baptist Church in its first days. She was pioneer of the church, meeting with several others in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Al Crum. She watched the body of believers grow and move their meeting place to its present site on Highland Lane. After completing her education at Washington Bible College, Miss White taught for three years in New Jersey. Upon her return to the Washington area, Miss White began teaching at Engleside Christian School, then in its second year. For the past eleven years she has taught second graders the love of God and of learning. Our heritage is richer because of her.
The 1982 yearbook staff dedicates this edition of the IMPRESSION to Miss Rita White in honor of her faithful part in the heritage of Engleside Christian School.
